NABERS, the National Australian Built Environment Rating System, offers a robust method for measuring sustainability across various building sectors such as hotels, shopping centers, apartments, offices, and data centers.
The rating system allows financial returns to be realised through lower energy and water bills and has guided corporate procurement decisions by transparently showcasing operational efficiency and sustainability accomplishments.

Historically, NABERS ratings have been required for landlords to obtain prior to selling a property, however recently local councils and state legislation may require a NABERS Commitment Agreements depending on the size and nature of the project.

NABERS COMMITMENT AGGREMENT
A contract signed by the developer to commit to designing, building and commissioning the project to achieve a nominated NABERS Energy rating.
