Delivered: NCC 2019 Section J Compliance

Aspire carried out Section J 2019 compliance via the JV3 verification method for a new $27M animal rehoming facility located in Blacktown, NSW. The development exemplifies world’s best practice in animal welfare and adoption which services the entire Western Sydney region.

The architectural concept strategically places glazing and adjacent shading devices in locations that take advantage of summer and winter heat flows, avoiding glare whilst maximising daylight amenity throughout. Services design features include a large photovoltaic system along with a rainwater capture and storage tank, further reducing reliance on central energy and water infrastructure.
